Online learning aids NORSU agriculture, forestry and fisheries students

Close to 125 students of the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (CAFF) have so far completed e-learning modules in line with their chosen field of interest offered by the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) of the Department of Agriculture (DA) since 2017.

A total of 28 students received their certificate of completion in a ceremony held during the 12th Harvest Festival on September 25, 2018 at the NORSU Pamplona Campus. These online graduates represent the second batch of students who availed of the program, a collaborative project between NORSU Pamplona Campus and ATI-Region 7. It aims to enhance the students' theoretical learning in the field of agriculture, forestry, or fisheries.

e-Learning is a major component of the DA's e-Extension Program with other government agencies, state universities and colleges, and non-government organizations as it continues to realize its vision of “Food availability and affordability for every Filipino family.”
