Hon. Henry A. Sojor, president of Central Visayas polytechnic College (CVPC) and president of the Metro Dumaguete Education Council (MDEC) is the keynote speaker during  the launching and introduction of officers of the Metro Dumaguete Council of guidance Counselors (MDCGC) on October4, 2000, at 3:00 P.M., at the Conference room of the College of Engineering and Architecture in Bajumpandan Campus, Dumaguete City.

              The MDCGC is an organization composed of guidance counselors designates of the different schools, both secondary and tertiary in the city.

               Hon. Felipe Antonio Remollo, city mayor of Dumaguete will also give his inspirational message. Other invited guests are the officers and members of the Metro Dumaguete Education Council, representatives from the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, principals and assistant principals of the city.
