Mission Statement
The College of Technological Education commits itself to the promotion of technical-vocational proficiency and quality outputs through effective and relevant instruction and training aimed at providing advanced and specialized knowledge in order to enhance the quality of life.
General Objectives
To promote technical-vocational proficiency through relevant professional and technical training thereby producing quality techniques who shall become agents of change to improve the quality of life.
Specific Objectives
- To reinforce faculty commitment toward effective instruction so as to realize the goals of the College.
- To increase opportunities and challenges for the development of students’ professional skill and technical know-how, with the end in view of producing quality technicians who will excel in their respective fields of specialization.
- To utilize the College’s research and extension programs in order to carry out a system of action which will improve the socio-economic condition of the people in particular and the community and society in general.
- To generate funds through income-generating projects and entrepreneurial activities.
- To maintain linkages with industries and other agencies in order to promote Negros Oriental State University’s mission for “moral, economic and cultural development” through joint efforts in research, instruction, extension and production.
